Characterizing the optical effects of nanophase absorbers and mineral powders

Nanophase ( We present new results from an ongoing project to characterize and model the spectral effects of two component mixtures of nanophase strong absorbers (amorphous carbon) or mineral powder (olivine) in a transparent matrix (halite).
